The CLP 7401 is designed for printing high resolution 400 dpi labels, twice the usual 200 dpi resolution for a barcode printer.

High resolution output is generally used for the following applications:

Miniature or compact barcodes for small item marking (or where space is limited)

High quality graphics or logos (for example rating plates containing CE logos)

Small or fine text on labels

Metal Hi-Lift™ mechanism: easy media loading makes the printer that much easier to install media or ribbons meaning less downtime and errors.

Internal 8-inch (200mm) media capacity: Large capacity internal media holder stores full sizes rolls within the heavy duty metal case, protecting them from dust and dirt. (There is an external feed slot available as well.)
