Warranty Statement

Citizen's products come with a full manufacturer's warranty.

The length of the warranty depends on your product and you must consult your original supplier for exact details as they may have given you extended warranty conditions.

For Barcode / Label Printers:

Citizen's label printers are covered by a limited 2-year warranty. The warranty statement is the definitive and official version of Citizen's support for your printer but it can be summarised as follows:

The standard warranty is 'return to base'. On-site warranties can be provided but are not part of the standard agreement

The warranty starts from date of invoice to the end-user.

The 2-year part covers all of the printer except the printhead and platen which are considered consumable items

The printhead has a warranty of 6 months or 50Kms (whichever comes first) if used in Thermal Transfer mode. In direct thermal mode, this is 6 months or 30Kms (whichever comes first).

General Service Information (All Products)

If you believe your Citizen product has a fault or if you need routine service on your printer, you should in the first case contact the location from where you bought the unit.

If you cannot do this for any reason, or you do not know who supplied the unit, please contact us and we will be able to give you details of your nearest authorised service centre.
