Citizen is a manufacturer of thermal label and barcode printers, dot matrix printers, mini and POS printers, receipt and kiosk mechanism printers, portable printers and a wide range of calculators.

Citizen Systems Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of Citizen Systems Japan Co. Ltd, itself a subsidiary of the world-famous watch company, now called Citizen Holdings Co. Ltd.

From its offices in Stuttgart and London the company markets its products throughout Europe (including Russia), the Middle East and the Indian sub-continent and all of Africa ("EMEA") and is serving these markets by means of a pan-European and international distributor network embracing more than 40 countries.

With Citizen's unique pedigree in making electro-mechanical devices such as its watches, it was a natural progression for it to enter the printer market more than 30 years ago.
